Dr. Motohiro Hasegawa, Senior Advisor of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has more than 20 years of working experience in the area of biodiversity and ecosystem conservation worldwide. He holds a B.Sc. in Wildlife Biology, an M.Sc. in Zoology (Conservation Biology) and a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology (Political Ecology) and am currently working for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as a senior advisor in the area of biodiversity and ecosystem conservation. He has a strong interest in developing and strengthening environmental governance to practice landscape management in developing countries.
