A new book titled “Blue Carbon Mangrove Ecosystems – A Concept-Based Approach” edited by Dr. Miguel Clüsener-Godt, Prof. Hiroyuki Matsuda, Dr. Benno Böer, and Dr. Ronald A. Loughland was published by Springer Nature. Papers presented in this book were written by the authors who attended the International Conference on “Blue Carbon Ecosystems for Sustainable Development with Special Emphasis to Mangrove Ecosystems” held at the Yokohama National University, in January 2023. This book provides comprehensive scientific documentation on how to utilize saline resources in the best interest of humanity and highlights the globally important issue of climate change and nature-based solutions of carbon sequestration.
